OVHcloud
by OVH Groupe SA · Service · also known as OVH
European cloud and hosting provider offering dedicated bare-metal servers, public and hosted private cloud, VPS, domains and web hosting from data centers in Europe, Canada and elsewhere
Overview
OVHcloud is a French infrastructure provider whose catalogue spans dedicated bare-metal servers in several ranges, an OpenStack-based Public Cloud with compute, object storage and managed Kubernetes, VMware-based Hosted Private Cloud, VPS, domain registration and shared web hosting. It operates its own data centers in France and other European countries, in Beauharnois near Montréal for North American customers, and in Asia-Pacific, and builds much of its own hardware and cooling.
It is a frequent choice for dedicated servers with unmetered bandwidth and for organizations that want infrastructure under European jurisdiction. Resources can be managed through the web control panel, a documented REST API and a Terraform provider; documentation lives at docs.ovhcloud.com.
Compared with the hyperscalers its managed-service breadth is narrower, support tiers and delivery times for bare metal vary, and some products are available only in specific regions.
